Viviane Reding: We don’t want to have populations to oppose same sex marriages

For those who still believe in fairytails: Democracy is not an issue any longer within the EU.

Let me quote Commisioner Viviane Reding from last nights question time in Straßburg on the mutual recognition of marriages and civil partnerships contracted by same sex couples:

„We don’t want to have populations to oppose same sex marriages.“

Mrs Anna Zaborska then told her that EUROstat found out that for 80 % of the EU population „marriage“ is between one man and one woman.

But no, the homosexual agenda marches forward regardless majorities opposing it. And the EU Parliament seems to be a meeting point for the homosexual lobby. Only 4 out of the 18 MEPs participating this debate where opposed to the homosexual agenda. One must ask, where and why does reason hide?

Obviously under pressure from the homosexual lobby Mrs Reding promised to take harsh mesures against countries that would oppose themselves to mutual recognition of these partnerships.

So countries like Ireland, Lithuania, Poland, Latvia, Malta have to be vigilant because they will receive pressure of some sort from Brussels on their stand that marriage is between one man and one woman and that this natural institution deserves special protection.

A majority of the citizens is against same sex partnerships? Never mind – Brussels will re-educate them.

Was hier diese geistige Umnach...

  2. Well done Ms Redding. What on earth do we have directives for it not to be adhered to. If you don't want to be part of the EU then get out of it otherwise obey the rules and regulations. The UK does not want to give rights to foreigners without these rights being reciprocated. It may be worthwhile you looking at exactly what Ms Redding said rather than putting your own take on the sitution. She said the rights a British couple obtained in the UK should go with that couple. She does not force any country to do whatever hideous things they chose to do with their own nationals.
