Schafft sich Deutschland ab?

Wie immer geht die Debatte um die Zuwanderung am Kern des Problems vorbei.

Verschiedene Postionen schwirren seit Tagen durch den Bätterwald. „Zuwanderungsstopp“ ruft Seehofer, „integriert Euch besser, lernt Deutsch, seid Botschafter der Türkei“ , ruft der türkische Europaminister Bagis, „türkische Zuwanderer sind als Fachkräfte nicht zu gebrauchen“ kommt es aus einer anderen Ecke, „ wir benötigen eine kontrollierte Zuwanderung“ schallt es von irgendwo anders.

Doch was sich hier manifestiert ist Angst. Deutschland schafft sich ab, so hat Thilo Sarrazin es auf den Punkt gebracht und die Angst ist berechtigt.

In aller Ruhe kann Racip Erdogan seinen in Deutschland lebenden Landsleuten zurufen, sie mögen doch die Sprache lernen. Das wird die Türken nicht davon abhalten, viel mehr Nachwuchs zu haben und am Ende über die deutsche Gesellschaftsordnung zu triumphieren.

Wir erleben Scharmützel, geführt im Brustton der Überzeugung, Recht zu haben, in einer Schlacht, in der die Verteidigungslinie immer mehr zerbröselt.

Deutschland schafft sich ab, das ist kaum mehr umzukehren, denn wie man den Deutschen wieder klarmachen könnte, daß nur unsere Kinder, die wir nicht mehr haben, das Problem lösen könnten, dieses Thema klammern die Politiker weiter aus.

Denn dann müssten sie sich eingestehen, daß die Debatte ohne moralische Argumente nicht auskommt. Die Spaßgesellschaft liebt die durch die Industrie und Forschung zur Verfügung gestellten Mittel, durch die das Handeln keine Konsequenzen mehr hat. Barrieren sind eingerissen, Spaß dominiert, ICH stehe im Mittelpunkt und im Vordergrund, ICH habe jetzt alles im Griff und kann meinen Trieben nachgehen ohne Einschränkungen in meinem Komfort fürchten zu müssen. Schauen wir einmal in uns hinein – wie oft sind wir schon kleinen Anstrengungen aus dem Weg gegangen. Das Paradies auf Erden wird uns ja täglich suggeriert. Die Folge: Deutschland schafft sich ab!

Der Verlust der christlichen Werte und Prinzipien, die Deutschland zur Blüte gebracht haben, wird uns die Existenz kosten. Von diesen Werten war die Nachkriegsgeneration geleitet, die unter großen Opfern unser Land wieder aus den Trümmern aufgebaut hat. Wie sonst hätte das in so kurzer Zeit von statten gehen sollen? Schon 1958 hatte Deutschland Frankreich und England an Wirtschaftskraft überflügelt. Opfer heißt das Zauberwort, doch zu Opfern ist heute keiner mehr bereit, denn das heißt Einschränkung des Komforts.

Die Mutter, der Vater sie geben ihr jugendliches Spaßleben für die Kinder auf. Kein Schlafen bis in die Puppen, nein: aufstehen, Frühstück vorbereiten, Kinder anziehen, in die Schule bringen, von dort abholen, bei Hausaufgaben helfen, Abendessen zubereiten, Baden, ins Bett bringen. Und zwischendurch aus den kleinen Barbaren Menschenkinder machen, sie erziehen zu sozial verantwortlichen Wesen, die dem Nächsten mit Liebe begegnen, die Verantwortung für das Allgemeinwohl übernehmen wollen, die sich als Mitglied der eigenen Familie in die Gesellschaft, der Familie der Familien, einbringen wollen. Das alles ist ein großes Opfer, das nur Eltern bringen können. Sind wir dazu nicht mehr bereit, wird diese Rolle von den muslimischen Familien in unserer Gesellschaft eingenommen werden, denn die haben genau dieses Bewußtsein, unter völlig verdrehten Vorzeichen natürlich.

Herr Wulf, Frau Merkel, Herr Westerwelle, Familienministerin Schröder, sie alle haben ein gestörtes Verhältnis zu eben gerade diesem Opfer. Der eine verläßt seine Frau und gibt damit ein schlechtes Beispiel, Frau Merkel hat keine Kinder und hat natürlicherweise Probleme, dies zu begreifen, Herr Westerwelle demontiert mit seiner homosexuellen Pseudoehe öffentlich den Ehebegriff und schwächt damit die Familie als Institution. Frau Schröder hat zumindest ihren Partner geheiratet, qualifiziert sich aber ohne Kinder auch nicht sonderlich. Keiner dieser vier ist für einen Muslim ein ernstzunehmender Gesprächspartner, geschweige denn Vorbild.

Deswegen kann Racip Erdogan ruhig eine bessere Integration fordern. Das ändert nichts an der langfristigen Überlegenheit der türkischen Kultur über die Spaßverliebtheit der westlichen Welt. 

On the situation in the USA: Socialism, true and false elites

We are witnessing a surge of popular outrage, revulsion even against an onslaught of ideologically liberal changes affecting the lives of millions of Americans. This outrage is fueled, among other things, by the following:

* decisions of activist judges favoring homosexualist or private property-denying socialist agendas and showing complete disregard for public opinion;

* junk science academics whose unwarranted and twisted findings are celebrated in the liberal media and establishment and are subsequently used to justify society-changing legislation and regulation;

* out-of-touch, liberal politicians using legislation or the raw power of government to intervene more and more inappropriately in the lives of Americans, creating in the process a leviathan Socialist State;

* ideologically-motivated media run amok, showering notoriety on leftist and opportunistic intellectuals, politicians, and entertainment celebrities willing to trumpet the “politically correct” line on a spectrum of controverted issues.

Do not confuse “liberal establishment” with true elites

            Undoubtedly, the individuals targeted by this furor can somehow be considered, more than many, as elites. But they do not represent true elites. Rather, they represent the latter’s corruption. They act contrary to the mission of all true elites which is based on service to the common good and the influencing of others well, so as to foster goodness and virtue.

            There is therefore a danger of conflating the “liberal establishment” with true elites and, while attacking the evils of liberalism, to inadvertently play the game of the left by favoring social egalitarianism. In sum, if we do not make the necessary distinction, we will “throw the baby out with the bath water.”

Thus, it is imperative to have a clear notion of what a true elite is so as not to confuse it with distortions or caricatures. Since society cannot live without a ruling class, the destruction of natural elites will cause them to be replaced with a New Class of bureaucrats forming a Nomenklatura, as happened in socialist countries.

Elites, excellence and altruism

            The French word élite was incorporated into the English language in 1823 but has its remote origins in the Latin term eligere, “to choose.” It is employed to designate individuals or groups who stand out in a special way in a certain ambience or activity. Thus, elite is used to designate “a group of persons who by virtue of position or education exercise much power or influence;” and thus we speak of “the elite of the entertainment world” or “members of the ruling elite;” and “the intellectual elites of the country.”[1]

            The philosophical Encyclopedie de L’Agora defines elite as “the best of the best.” Littré[2] cites fleur [flower] as the first synonym of elite. “The elite of an army is the flower of the army. In the words of Tocqueville, an intellectual elite is distinguished by a disinterested love of truth; and in the sphere of action, an elite is distinguished by courage, as Plutarch teaches us in his Lives of Illustrious Men.” [3]

True and decadent elites

            According to Prof. Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira, “countries which have an elite that is conscious of its responsibility are countries that rise in the firmament of history and brilliantly accomplish their mission. On the contrary, however, nations whose elites are unaware of their responsibility and mission are nations that inevitably fail and plunge into the great catastrophes of history.”

            The reason for this, the illustrious Brazilian thinker explains, is that if the “elite has the privileges it has” it must not live to enjoy these privileges but rather “to serve society entirely,” which supposes “that the elite be disposed to make the necessary sacrifices to accomplish its mission.” And, he continues, “The main responsibility or mission of an elite individual—whatever may be the area of his excellence—is to dedicate himself to the common good. This donation of self to the common good consists in having a clear concept of what the elite must do.”

            And that is why “if the elite renounces its responsibility to be the social class that sets the tone in society—a moralizing and Christian tone rather than a de-Christianizing and paganizing one—it ceases to be a true elite.” [4]

Let us combat socialism, not true elites     

Given the confused state of notions in many minds today, it is necessary to insist that a nation cannot exist, or at least it cannot develop normally, without true elites; because a nation progresses only with the impulse of the best, the most skilled, and the most virtuous.          

Because of socialism’s egalitarian essence, it loathes the natural elites that rise thanks to the development and use of talents, free enterprise and the hereditary perpetuation of family values and merits.

What outraged Americans ought to do when corrupted elites favor socialism is not to attack all elites indiscriminately but to combat the former, in other words the specific elites that allowed themselves to become corrupted. Without this special care to properly distinguish between false and true elites, one ends up by inadvertently playing into the hands of the enemy one is trying to defeat: socialism.

Outrage against the liberal establishment has sparked increased talk about our nation’s Founding Fathers. However, few remember to note, much less ponder on how they were members of the social, cultural, and political elite of their time.

We live in dangerous times that require great clarity of vision and strength in action. Let us eschew all muddled, anti-elitist thinking and rhetoric and remain faithful to America’s principled and battle-seasoned anti-communist and anti-socialist past. Should we do this, the troubles we are going through may well become America’s “finest hour.”

L’ouvrage de Ian Plimer, Heaven and Earth, où il dénonce l’imposture de l’environnementalisme et de la pollution comme facteurs de changement climatique, suffira-t-il à inverser la tendance ? De plus en plus de scientifiques marquent leur accord avec ses thèses, même ceux qui s’étaient tus jusqu’ici. Le géologue australien, professeur à Adelaide University, rejette la thèse d’un réchauffement climatique causé par l’homme.

Cette idée lui apparaît comme « une fiction dangereuse et économiquement ruineuse ». Il ne nie pas le réchauffement climatique qui, d’après les observations les plus fiables, serait terminé depuis 2003, mais il dénonce ce « first-world luxury » qu’est l’environnementalisme dénué de toute base scientifique. « L’hypothèse que l’activité humaine puisse provoquer un réchauffement mondial est intenable car elle est contraire à nos connaissances scientifiques en physique solaire, astronomie, histoire, archéologie et géologie. Je suis géologue et les géologues ont toujours reconnu que le climat change avec le temps. Mais nous différons des partisans du AGW (‘anthropogenic global warning’) dans l’échelle d’observation. Ils ne sont intéressés que par les 150 dernières années. Notre spectre temporel est de 4 567 millions d’années » (“The Spectator”, 11 juillet 2009).

Ce que le Professeur Plimer explique, c’est que la glace polaire n’a existé sur terre que pendant 20 % du temps géologique, que l’extinction de certaines formes de vie est normale, que les changements climatiques sont cycliques, que le CO2 dans l’atmosphère, auquel l’activité humaine ne contribue que pour une fraction minime, ne représente que 0,001 % de la quantité totale de CO2 contenue dans les océans, les roches, l’air, le sol et les êtres vivants, que le CO2 n’est pas un agent polluant mais un aliment pour les végétaux, que les plus chaudes périodes – comme celle où les Romains cultivaient la vigne jusqu’au Mur d’Hadrien – ont été des périodes de richesse et d’abondance.

Plimer n’est pas aimé pour ses convictions. Les éditeurs se méfient de lui et refusent de le publier. Il reçoit des menaces de mort. On l’accuse d’être un criminel ou un être immoral. Mais Plimer voir les choses d’un autre œil. Pour lui, la « culpabilité environnementale » est typique d’une société riche. « C’est la nouvelle religion des populations urbaines qui ont perdu leur foi chrétienne. Les rapports de l’IPCC (International Panel on Climate Change) sont leur Bible. Al Gore et Lord Stern sont leurs prophètes ». L’environnementalisme fait office de religion à travers les attitudes religieuses qu’il crée chez les gens. Une nouvelle morale écologique a vu le jour. On est prêt à faire des sacrifices financiers importants par respect pour l’environnement. La terre est devenue une déesse et l’homme bientôt un intrus. (C. B. C.)
